‘How art frames London: from Damien Hirst to the Gagosian, the galleries that shape our capital.'

Art meets property in this month’s London Magazine.

Beautifully illustrated by photographer Rebecca Pierce’s explosion of butterflies and

retouched by Studio Invisible, we helped make them fly out of the frame and onto this month’s cover.

Forget central London, culture seekers are now swarming to buy properties near the art-hubs

of the capital, just in time for this year’s Frieze London (14th-17th October) and the opening of

Damien Hirst’s much anticipated Newport Street Gallery, which opened its doors for the first

time last week in Lambeth.

It seems that where artists go, everyone else follows – and nowhere more obviously than our

local Shoreditch.
