'Height of Glamour: The roof terrace revolution.'
The London Magazine Cover

The team at Studio Invisible have once again raised the roof retouching the cover and main feature for the July issue of The London Magazine: a heavenly view into the high life of prime London and its ever flourishing roof terrace revolution.

Having looked into the horizon, architects, designers and the like have begun fulfilling our creatively conscious desires to be greener, though on a more functional and luxurious level.

For this particular shoot photographer Rebecca Pierce and the production team eloquently captured the flourishing glamour of these soaring retreats in a cleverly crafted shoot. Model, Beata Grabowska, floats on the skyline, a designer parachute dress her safety net, a roof garden her serene oasis.

In a city of limited space these high rise sanctuaries are a savvy must-have and provide the perfect hideaway from prying eyes to bask in the sunshine without the upkeep of a traditional garden - even if us Brits are only granted the longed for vitamin D rays a mere few weeks in the year! Away from the hustle and bustle of the streets below, these hideaways allow you to feel, literally, on top of the world. After-all, who doesn’t like a room with a view? – Especially one with the added amenities’ of a hot tub and barbecue.

Whilst our roof terrace here at Studio Invisible isn’t quite on par with the one we had the pleasure to retouch, we definitely all agreed that this was one of our favourite campaign to post produce for The London Magazine so far and, as usual, we are eager to set our sights on what comes next.

Until next time...
